Delhi rocked again!!

Yet again, yesterday!!
Too bad...act of some losers...think they will make it big this way.

This time it is crowded bazaars, last time it was cinema halls.

I was there with my family in Satyam cinema in patel nagar when terrorists struck. Was watching 'Naina'...Ramu's movie featuring Urmila...full of funny sound effects. Just 10-15 minutes after interval, I had gone to loo for a break...just as I was coming out the place....heard a deafening noise...a sound hundreds of glasses breaking...thought somebody had opened audi's gate and the sound was coming from inside...immediately came out and in the lobby the cinema staff was in a state of shock. A couple of seconds, AC ducts started emitting thick white smoke. My immediate thought was that, perhaps there was some problem in the AC plant....went inside the auditorium...people were in a state of panic...running out of emergency exit....my family was desparately looking for me...the movie was still on and lights were still out. Within a minute, lights were switched on and the cinema staff ushered us out of the auditorium. Satyam has a very good exit plan...within 2-3 minutes we were out of the hall premises. Thankfully, we couldn't get parking space inside the hall, so had parked the car in nearby market's parking. Then, as if some invisible force was guiding us, we decided to take ring road rather than karol bagh...this proved to be a wise decision, as we came to know later...there was another bomb blast at Liberty cinema hall...and there was chaos there.

Later, as reports came in, we came to know that the bomb blast at Satyam took place at toilets on GF ( I was on FF) and false ceiling of adjoining 'Subway' food joint fell from the impact. We were there before the movie had started.

Phew....it was some day!!
