Delhi rocked again!!

Yet again, yesterday!!
Too bad...act of some losers...think they will make it big this way.

This time it is crowded bazaars, last time it was cinema halls.

I was there with my family in Satyam cinema in patel nagar when terrorists struck. Was watching 'Naina'...Ramu's movie featuring Urmila...full of funny sound effects. Just 10-15 minutes after interval, I had gone to loo for a break...just as I was coming out the place....heard a deafening noise...a sound hundreds of glasses breaking...thought somebody had opened audi's gate and the sound was coming from inside...immediately came out and in the lobby the cinema staff was in a state of shock. A couple of seconds, AC ducts started emitting thick white smoke. My immediate thought was that, perhaps there was some problem in the AC plant....went inside the auditorium...people were in a state of panic...running out of emergency exit....my family was desparately looking for me...the movie was still on and lights were still out. Within a minute, lights were switched on and the cinema staff ushered us out of the auditorium. Satyam has a very good exit plan...within 2-3 minutes we were out of the hall premises. Thankfully, we couldn't get parking space inside the hall, so had parked the car in nearby market's parking. Then, as if some invisible force was guiding us, we decided to take ring road rather than karol bagh...this proved to be a wise decision, as we came to know later...there was another bomb blast at Liberty cinema hall...and there was chaos there.

Later, as reports came in, we came to know that the bomb blast at Satyam took place at toilets on GF ( I was on FF) and false ceiling of adjoining 'Subway' food joint fell from the impact. We were there before the movie had started.

Phew....it was some day!!

Blues...

Every now and then, one experiences sudden bout of lethargy....remember morning blues...It doesnot have to be a monday morning...like it is today: a friday morning; that too with an upcoming office Diwali party on the Sunday....any sane person would be pretty excited. But, then life is not so simple.

There are days when you feel energetic throughout the day, then there are days when you just wanna break free from mundane routine of work. It is important to realise this cycle of varying energy levels and withdraw from routine work once you start to get this feeling of low energy levels. If one forces to work when one does not want to, it has negative effect on one's productivity in medium term.

Initially, you will be able to push yourself to work....probably 'second wind'....but, subsequently you will experience blues for longer period of time than you would have otherwise. Make sure you 'do your own things' on such days....like writing this blog...talking with friends. Don't let that feeling get into you....hopefully you will get over it pretty soon.
